(Applicable to Overseas Buyers Outside India Only)
This Shipping Policy applies exclusively to international and export buyers purchasing fishing nets from AATHI FISHNET through our website or official sales channels.
1. Shipping Coverage
- We ship fishing nets worldwide via sea freight or air freight, subject to buyer requirements and destination regulations.
- All shipments are executed strictly in accordance with mutually agreed Incoterms.
2. Standard Shipping Basis – FOB
- All prices quoted by AATHI FISHNET are on an FOB (Free on Board – India Port) basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Under FOB terms:
- The seller delivers goods on board the vessel at the agreed Indian port.
- Risk and responsibility transfer to the buyer once goods are loaded on board the vessel.
- Ocean freight, marine insurance, destination charges, import duties, and local taxes are borne by the buyer.
3. Other Shipping Terms (As Required by Buyer)
Upon written request, shipments may be arranged under the following terms:
3.1 CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)
- Seller arranges freight and marine insurance up to the destination port.
- Risk transfers to the buyer once goods are loaded on board at the port of shipment.
- Import clearance, duties, taxes, and inland transport at destination are buyer’s responsibility.
3.2 CFR (Cost & Freight)
- Seller arranges freight up to the destination port.
- Marine insurance is not included and must be arranged by the buyer.
- Risk transfers to the buyer once goods are loaded on board the vessel.
3.3 EXW (Ex-Works)
- Goods are made available at the seller’s factory or warehouse.
- All transportation, export clearance, insurance, and risks from seller’s premises onward are entirely the buyer’s responsibility.
4. Shipment Scheduling & Dispatch
- Goods are dispatched only after full payment realization or in accordance with approved LC terms.
- Shipment schedules depend on:
- Production completion
- Vessel / flight availability
- Port operations and customs procedures
- Estimated shipment dates are indicative and may vary.
5. Risk Transfer & Liability
- Goods are handed over in proper export-worthy packing.
- AATHI FISHNET shall not be responsible for delays, damages, loss, or shortages occurring after risk transfer as per agreed Incoterms.
- Transit insurance is the buyer’s responsibility unless CIF terms are expressly agreed.
6. Shipping Documents
The seller shall provide standard export documents, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Certificate of Origin (where applicable)
Additional documents required by the buyer or destination country shall be provided subject to mutual agreement.
7. Delays & Force Majeure
Delays caused by shipping lines, port congestion, customs clearance, strikes, natural calamities, government regulations, or force majeure events shall not be treated as grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All international shipments shall be governed by the laws of India.
